Senior students at Rockhampton Special School are able to
access a range of programs designed to develop the skills needed for their post-school
life. These programs add value to the traditional curriculum subjects such as
English and Maths while also providing opportunities for students to develop
community relationships. Programs include work experience,
horse riding for the disabled, life skills and leisure options. Some of our students are enrolled in a Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways.
In their final years of school students work towards achieving their Queensland Individual Certificate of Achievement (QCIA) certificate upon graduation.
